Private driving is permitted beginning 6 weeks after discharge with no thromboembolic complications on anticoagulant therapy. Commercial driving is permitted beginning 3 months after discharge with no thromboembolic complications, receiving anticoagulant therapy, LVEF ≥ 35%, AND is NYHA Class I.
