When apixaban, dabigatran, or rivaroxaban have been withdrawn for an invasive procedure we suggest that such therapy be restarted after the procedure one day after hemostasis is established (usually 48 hours for a procedure with low risk of bleeding and 72 hours for a procedure with an intermediate or high risk of bleeding).
