Recommendation 23. We recommend that patients who have concomitant AF and symptomatic CAD receive a regimen of antithrombotic therapy based on a balanced assessment of their risk of: (1) ischemic stroke; (2) future coronary event(s); and (3) clinically significant bleeding associated with the use of antithrombotic agents (Strong Recommendation; High-Quality Evidence).
